I was looking around for some other information and I came across the below information according to www.kraft.com regarding their peanut free products.
According to Kraft no peanut or tree nut ingredients are used in their facility. I remember mentioning in an earliar post regarding Oreo cookies that coconut may be in considered a nut in the United States.

The original recipe actually has almonds in the recipe. I’m pretty sure if we were to change the almonds to oats or vanilla extract instead of almond extract we may not exactly get the same taste but we can get a pretty good tasting cookie! I will eventually try these cookies as I have to try all the recipes that I put on here as well.

Ingredients
4 ounces butter
4 ounces vegetable shortening
3/4 cup lightly-packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsulphured molasses*
1 large egg (for egg replacement please read here)
3 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon brown food coloring (optional)

Sorry it’s been a while! With the holidays getting closer, my time has become busier too, it’s Nuts! What about the irony in that..
I have finally had the chance to add more products to the Peanut-Free Store. Bear Paw Cookies taste great too!

The No-Peanut Butter Cookie can be made using soy butter. Please be sure you are not also allergic to Soy and get tested by your doctor before using any soy products. Sometimes those that are allergic to peanuts and other nuts can also be allergic to soy. This recipe is an intended replacement to those that can eat Soybutter instead of Peanut Butter.
