Hi Jodi,
Is it possible that maybe she is reacting to another ingredient? I have been allergic to tree nuts and even more so to sesame seeds. Sometimes by not doing it on purpose some things get mixed up. I've been allergic since I was 5 and I am now 28. It's been a tough ride with a few attacks along the way and my list of allergies seems to be growing.

My advice is that I think maybe your daughter should get tested on other foods. I was tested for 17 things at once and found out I was allergic to not only nuts but shellfish too. It may be something in the cookies or an ingredient that is making her react.

My daughter has a severe tree nut peanut and sunflower allergy and she has never once seemed to have any sort of reaction while mother's cookies are making her swell up and break out.
